Daily DeviationReturn of the art lizard by ~powr-toch is a work I did not initially really get into as several components of it do not work in isolation for me; however, as a cohesive work (you really do have to take it in as a full deluge on the eyes) it is amazingly tight, rich and features a vertigo-inducing kind of asymmetrical balance. (Featured by `zeruch)

sorry it took so long for me to comment on this...
I really like this style of painting (all the different rooms, no discernable up or down) , and you've brought it to a new level without overworking a cliche. I like the triangle in the middle, especially the chalk lines from a dead body. ALthough the title refers to an art lizard, we only see a foot and part of a tail, which is neat. It's very amazing that you actually spent the time to paint the paintings within the paintings. The detail is extraordinary.


ps i just saw the lizard above the fire. i think im going to have to stare at this for a while until i see the whole thing!

thank you so much =) it was just an idea i had about art always taking the soul of the person performing it. the main 3 paintings on the wall around the dead man, read "happiness, needs, beauty" written in latin. but the sign in the bottom says "fraud".
anyhow thanks for the +fav and nice comment =)
